Jadeit is jade with other minerals in it's composit. This is a very hard stone which took me two years to complete. Finding a rare large green stone, I knew that it had to be a plant form. With many sketches and clay models the planning was very challenging to represent the Calle Leaves, yet keeping the piece stylized. The Anhydrite Flowers challenged me to make them as thin as possible to allow light through them. This comes with a plexi display case. (also a white pedestal if desired)
