Often I leave part of the natural skin on a stone as part of the design. In this case the wing of the Owl, while the rest of the Sculpture is highly polished. While searching for a stone to mount it on, I came across this wonderful piece of pipestone that looked like a fence post. The Owl sits quietly perched on the post observing it's surroundings.
This Sculpture has been Honored with several Awards Internationally. This led to producing a small Limited Edition Bronze of Ten. The Bronze allows the piece to be outside in any garden setting. The original can be outside in drier climates.
